Here is the outside of the market. There are plenty of people who will stop you and ask you to vote about some current issue.

Now the market consists of two areas a covered "open air-esque" portion with fruits, veggies, flowers and uncooked items. Here is the entrance to the very long produce section.

Here is Ma looking in awe at the large selection.

I told Ma not to buy the first thing you see because you can probably find it cheaper and better down the way. I told her it was best to walk through the market and then decide what you want to buy and who to buy it from. Here she is throwing some side-eye to a vendor who had salad greens priced much higher than another we visited previously.

Brian was a bit uneasy with all of the people shouting and asking you if you wanted to try samples of their produce.

Beautiful potatoes! Last time I purchased fingerling potatoes and made Ina Garten's herbed new potatoes.

It all looked so good.

Here is the indoor section of the market which looks as though it use to be some type of train station (I will google that later) I love the tiled ceiling. In here you will find prepared foods, meats, cheeses, breads, candy, cakes, falafel, and spices

Here is Ma at the spice vendor. I think I was going in depth into the history of some spice or another. She looks bored..

Here we have a delicious treat, which I had never had before. This vendor is called Crepes De Luxe. They prepare hot crepes, both savory and sweet, filled with the delicious filling of your choice. The crepe batter was poured onto a hot grill and expertly distributed with a type of wooden paddle.

I chose one called "The King" it was filled with chocolate, bananas and peanut butter. Now what this vendor lacked in friendliness he made up for with his delicious crepes.

It was so delicious! Ma chose one with pears, walnuts and caramel and Brian chose one with strawberries.

Ma and I could not resist eating our crepes despite the fact that they were 900˚F.

Here is another angle of the market.

Here are some delicious looking cakes.

Later, after we left the market we met our friend Kelly and her niece Leah for dinner and a walk around Legacy Village. Here they are enjoying some gelato!

If you ever get a chance I recommend the West Side Market. It is a bit busy and crazy, but I always have a fun time.
