The event was a book signing for Martha's new Everyday Food book, the Martha Stewart Homekeeping Handbook and her new line of Martha Stewart Clean products. We rounded up a posse and headed up there, have a look.
The booksigning was held at Giant Eagle Market District. The store was so beautiful and large I would have loved to spend more time looking around, but we were on a Martha mission.

Here is a view of the huge store.

The books had to be purchased at the Giant Eagle and a receipt needed to be present in order for Martha to sign. She was actually signing bottles of her cleaning products too!

Here is a ticket with all of the rules for the booksigning including no unauthorized memorabilia to be signed, no posing for photos and to be ready!

Here is Ma looking bored while waiting. We arrived at 9:30 and the booksigning was not until 11.
The staff at Giant Eagle prepared food from the Everyday Food book and passed it around to all of us it was delicious!
Here is White Bean Dip and pita chips, which was DELICIOUS! They also served Walnut and Dried Fruit Granola, DELICIOUS! and Spicy Cheese Crisps! YUM!

Martha gave a brief description of her cleaning products and commented on how muggy it was in Pennsylvania. We were watching from a tent while she talked.

Once inside there was another beautiful display of her eco-friendly cleaning products.

Another monitor of Martha Signing.

There was a good crowd.

And when we finally saw Martha it was wonderful! She was just as beautiful as she is on TV and looked wonderful!

Here is Martha talking to my Mom. Martha asked Ma what she did, to which my Mom replied she worked at a casino in Las Vegas. Martha got a big smile on her face and said, "LAS VEGAS!"

Here they are BFFs till the end.

Now I am not sure what happened, I handed my camera off to Brian who was in line behind me to take my picture, but he did not take one single picture! Haha it's okay though. When I got to Martha I told her I loved her books and that she was in inspiration. I also congratulated her on her two Emmy nominations and she said, "OH I KNOW!!!" I said thanks again, grabbed my book and left. It all happened so fast and since there are no pictures of Martha and I I'll insert this picture of Martha working the stripper pole for you to imagine how our encounter went.

After I met back up with Ma and Brian Ma was so starstruck and about to cry and faint and just overjoyed. I was so happy to see her so happy!

I had three things signed by Martha.
Her Homekeeping Handbook

Her new Everyday Food: Fresh Flavor Fast book

And Issue #1 of Everyday Food magazine from 2003! I actually had Brian have Martha sign this!

It was such a wonderful day and wonderful event. It went by so fast, but it was a dream come true!
