Some Game...

"Apparently there is some game this weekend" was the phrase that I said to someone when I told them that I was making a lot of football cakes for this weekend. Cakes, cupcakes, footballs, confetti sprinkles. It is all so fun to do, I have really found joy decorating cakes. While at my internship Connie and I have to do what we have to do in order to get the bakery shelves stocked with the regular items then after that we can have fun.

I am not too much into baseball so I didn't have any interest in watching the Super Bowl, but I had a good time with these confections!

Here are some cakes that we had to make. One big thing that I have learned from working in the bakery is that when time is limited you use what is in your hand to do multiple tasks. Connie and I used a flat plastic bowl scraper, I would have never thought of using one of those to quickly frost a large amount of cakes.


There was a sale on these cakes so we had to make a bunch of them.


I am not that proud of this writing, but hey I am getting better!
