The beginning of the end....

So this weekend I tore out most of my tomato plants, my dried up cucumber plants, and most of my squash. It was sad to do but it had to be done. I made some bruschetta today but I put a bit too much basil in it. Other than that nothing new with me, just school and work. I am taking some of my thyme in to class tomorrow for mushroom turnovers we are making. I think they will be delicious!

Pumpkins and Charlie...

So the pumpkin that I saved seeds from last year is growing like crazy and I thought there was only a vine and no pumpkins but much to my surprise and excitement there are pumpkins on there! Here are a few pics of them and my dog Charlie!

I am sorry for all the tomato posts lately but they are all ripening at once!!!!

Pleasant Surprise!

We got back from Florida this morning and when we left there were a bunch of green tomatoes. When we arrived back home there were a bunch of red tomatoes here are pics. My roomate and I are eating the Gardener's Delights on salad!
