Spring has sprung and is actually a bit past. The days are getting longer and warmer, it is exciting. I started my seedlings in the basement like I did last year but this time I planted about 4 times as much as I did last year. I also went to the Dahlia Society's tuber sale and bought some giant sizes. I am excited to see them bloom. The idea that flowers can be the size that some of the dinner plate dahlias get to be is something that I can hardly wait for.

Brian took me the a hidden jewel in Youngstown, the Fellow Riverside Garden, I would love for our yard to look like that and if you have never been there I STRONGLY suggest that you take a visit. Since I have posted last I quit my job and became a full time student and have enjoyed being at home while it is light when I am done with my day. The Fellow Garden is so beautiful that I am thinking about going again today! I have a lot of cleaning to do and I would also like to clean up my window in the kitchen and put some new plants. It needs a bit of revitalization. I am so excited to view other bloggers posts and post more about my success, joys, and challenges of the garden this season.
